The Plumbing Bros Franchise Model Explained

You don’t need to be a plumber to be our franchise partner. But how does that actually work? Our CEO, James caught up with Glenn Walford from Franchise Buyer at the Sydney Franchising expo to record an episode of the Franchise Everything podcast and he discusses exactly that – how we’re seeking entrepreneurial minded individuals with management experience to join our network.

The Plumbing Bros business model is a unique, scalable business model which, at maturity, we would be disappointed if it was not turning over in excess of $3.5 million per annum. This is achieved through the recruitment of around 10 revenue generating plumbers.

Discussing what ‘a day in the life’ of one of our franchise partners looks like, James explains that in the early stages of the business operations, the franchise partner’s role is typically very operational and admin heavy. They are responsible for generating leads, scheduling, invoicing and all client communications. When the business grows and has employed 3-4 plumbers, the administrative component of the business becomes too extensive for one person, so we recommend hiring administrative support. This also allows the franchise partner to focus more on growing the business – working on the business and not in it.

Watch the podcast to learn more about the three tiers of sales and marketing within the Plumbing Bros business, why there is a confidence in plumbing and how this is contributing to the growth of the Plumbing Bros franchise network and how the Plumbing Bros business model is highly data driven and how we use that data to drive decision making.
